Privacy Policy
Last update: January 12, 2026
At Ecufundprop S.A.S. we process your personal data in accordance with Ecuador's Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPDP) and the principles of minimization, purpose limitation and transparency. This document explains what information we collect when you visit ecufundprop.com or complete our inquiry form, throughout the entire lifecycle of the 2026 housing program and subsequent years.
1. Data controller
Controller: Ecufundprop S.A.S., with RUC 1793245678001 and registered office at Av. de los Shyris N37-313 and El Telégrafo, Edificio Renazzo Plaza, Floor 8, Quito. You can contact the Data Protection Officer by writing to privacidad@ecufundprop.com.
2. Data we collect
We only collect the data you voluntarily submit in the inquiry form: full name, email address and the free-form message you decide to include. We additionally log minimal technical browser data (truncated IP address, device type, language) and the cookie identifiers for which you have given explicit consent.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We use your information to reply to your inquiry, verify eligibility for the housing program and, if you authorize it, send you information about projects in Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca and other cities. The legal basis is explicit consent and the execution of pre-contractual measures requested by you.
4. Retention
We keep your data for a maximum of 24 months from the last contact. After that period the data is securely deleted, unless a legal retention obligation applies (e.g. tax records required by the SRI for up to 7 years).
5. Recipients
We do not sell or transfer your data. To operate we use cloud service providers (email, web hosting and analytics), all of them with data protection contractual clauses and, where applicable, international transfer safeguards recognized by Ecuador's Superintendency of Personal Data Protection.
6. Data subject rights
You can exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, restriction and the right not to be subject to automated decisions by writing to privacidad@ecufundprop.com with a copy of your ID. We respond within a maximum of 15 business days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Superintendency of Personal Data Protection.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures: TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, role-based access control, encrypted backups and audit logs. No measure is foolproof and, in the event of an incident, we will notify the authority and affected individuals as required by the LOPDP.
8. Changes
Any material change to this policy will be published on this page at least 15 days before it takes effect. We invite you to review it periodically.
